“Developing and Maintaining Mindfulness” Sessions for 2019
Who is it for:
These monthly ‘drop-in’ sessions are open both to people who may have completed any of the available structured Mindfulness Based Courses and who wish to continue to develop their personal practice, and to others who have an interest in establishing and developing a mindfulness practice with no personal experience. The sessions offer an opportunity to connect and engage with like-minded people in an informal supportive environment. No advance notice is required to attend.
What happens at these 'drop-in sessions':
Monthly sessions over tea and coffee are intentionally varied.
- The evening sessions will usually contain discussion around ongoing practice
- Reviewing and discussing a ‘mindfulness based’ article brought to the group’s attention
- Reading and reflecting on some selected poetry
- Guided practice provided at each session, with reflection and inquiry to conclude the evening
In order to meet room hire cost etc., a fee of £5 is required per person per session.
Tea/coffee and biscuits available from 7.45pm till 8.00pm. Sessions finish at 9.00pm
